CEII’s rental apartments provide stable, affordable rental housing opportunities for low-moderate income persons. These programs provide affordable housing by charging below-market rents to income eligible persons. Some of the programs provide Section 8 rental assistance, which provides income-eligible residents with assistance in the payment of rent. For more than 30 years, we have been highly successful in bringing the benefits of well maintained, affordable rentals to more individuals and families.
The acquisition and rehabilitation of housing for these programs is part of an ongoing coordinated effort with the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, Neighborhood Enterprise Foundation, and the City of Pensacola, Department of Housing.
CEII owns units scattered in various neighborhoods throughout Pensacola and Escambia. In addition, CEII is currently partnering with Pathways for Change to development twelve units of rental housing for their Transitional Housing program.
